Scott Steel Erectors Inc. provides complete assembly and maintenance of Pre-Engineered Metal Building systems. From its Head Office in Burlington, Ontario, Scott Steel Erectors has performed on projects across Canada and overseas. Incorporated in 1989, the Company has experienced 21 years of rapid growth based on a commitment to safe work practices, quality installation and effective project scheduling.

Scott Steel Erectors Inc. has the ability to provide Metal Building Assembly services and Conventional Structural Steel erection for any size of project. With its own fleet of specialized construction equipment, including aerial work platforms, tele-handlers and cranes, Scott Steel is uniquely positioned to successfully complete the largest of projects. The Company ensures that it remains fully capable to accomplish its work through qualifications such as CWB certification and an in-house certified train-the-trainer capabilities in Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platforms, Hoisting and Rigging, Telescopic Forklifts, and both the Mining Association of Canada and the Oil Sands Safety Association requirements.

 

Scott Steel Erectors’ primary asset is its labour force of more than 80 non-union Composite Metal Building Installers. The Company has developed extensive training mandates and incentives to develop the most knowledgeable and professional assembly crews in Canada. Employee retention is among the highest in the trade as a result of provided training, benefit packages and pension supplements. The Company has 10 dedicated Foremen with experience ranging from 10 to 35 years. All Foremen have successfully completed the CASO Supervisor training course, as well as additional training and are held to the highest standard of professional performance.

Scott Steel Erectors’ primary focus remains its Safety Program, consisting of its Safety Coordinator, mandatory training, ongoing development of safe work procedures, daily site safety talks and equipment inspections, and regular site safety inspections. The Company maintains its participation in professional and safety focused organizations such as Safety Group Ontario, the Ontario Construction Association and the Canadian Construction Association. It is Scott Steel’s mandate to remain the industry leader in safe work procedures and practices.
